After our move to the ‘city’, I’m missing the bush. Being able to collect foliage without leaving the house yard, the kids bringing home ‘treasures’ from the garden, the spring wildflowers down by the old house site, and the big open skies looking across the paddocks. This year’s garlands and wreaths are my nod to the bush. My aim was to embrace simplicity and showcase the beauty of Australian foliage. The paddock and roadside finds that fill jugs and vases on the sideboards of country homes.
Gum Leaf Garlands feature approximately 30 mineral green gum leaves made from pure wool felt and purple felt “berries”. Leaves are strung onto a white 2.5m cotton twine. Each leaf lovingly cut and shaped by hand. Please expect slights variations in each garland due to their handmade nature.
Garlands present almost endless possibilities for adding some seasonal decor to your space. They are perfect to frame entryways, simply hang on the wall, wrap around banisters, and tree branches, or add a garland down the centre of your Christmas table as a centrepiece. If you are looking for something a little more traditional a red and green option is also available.

About my bespoke blooms: Each petal and leaf has been lovingly cut and assembled by hand (by me!) to be enjoyed and treasured in your home. You are buying a truely handmade item and I thank you for your patience while I create a special piece just for you.
Lead time: Current lead time on all products is 2-3 weeks. This means your item will be posted 2-3 weeks AFTER you place your order. Please contact me before purchase if you would like it sooner.
Materials: 100% wool felt. Floristry wire and embroidery floss.
Care: use your fingers to gently fluff and smooth petals and leaves to reshape after shipping. Use compressed air,or give your flowers a good shake periodically to remove any dust and then reshape. Spot clean with a damp cloth if necessary.
